The Problem
Heating and cooling systems are the biggest energy users in almost every house. HVAC refers to the equipment and distribution network (e.g. ducts) used to create and distribute heating and cooling. There are many different types of HVAC systems, including natural gas or electric boilers or furnaces, heating and cooling pumps, and window and stand alone heaters, and air conditioners.
